Diwali Wishes

By V.Alamelu Bannan | Project leader

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As the festival of lights — Diwali — approaches, we at Rural Women Development Trust (RWDT) extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. May this Diwali bring light, joy, and hope into every home!

This season reminds us that even the smallest light can drive away darkness — just like your support continues to bring hope to hundreds of women, children, and migrant families who face poverty, exploitation, and inequality.

Through your generosity, we’ve been able to:

  • Rescue and rehabilitate bonded women laborers and their families,
  • Support education and safety of children,
  • Empower communities through livelihood and leadership programs.

Yet, many families still live in the shadows — without safe homes, education, or economic freedom.
This Diwali, you can light up their lives.

Your gift, no matter how small, brings real change:

Together, we can make this Diwali brighter — not just with lamps, but with dignity, opportunity, and hope for every woman and child we serve.

Donate now and light a life this Diwali!

Wishing you a Happy and Prosperous Diwali from all of us at

With gratitude and warm regards,
V. Alamelu Bannan
