Creating Community, Building Confident Leaders

By Verna Liza Antonio-Caba | Program Director

Confident Girls Today, Courageous Leaders Tomorrow
Confident Girls Today, Courageous Leaders Tomorrow

Career Girls Club is more than a curriculum—it is a community where girls have a safe place to learn, express themselves freely, and build confidence.

Today, 319 girls are participating in our Career Girls Club program. In Club meetings, girls in 2nd through 12th grade practice problem-solving and explore teamwork and resiliency. These skills are helping them to navigate challenges in school and life. Just as important, they are learning to listen to one another, share ideas, and support each other.

The girls' voices bring this impact to life. A third grader eagerly asked, “When is our next Club meeting? I don’t want to miss it!” A fourth grader reminded her teacher to check the schedule, and a fifth grader shared, “I love Club because we get to talk about problems and figure things out together.”

Their excitement shows that Career Girls Club is more than a program—it is a place of belonging, learning, and leadership in the making.

Thank you for making this community possible. Your generosity is shaping confident girls today and courageous leaders tomorrow.
