Healthy eating workshop

Welcome! We are very pleased to share this report on the educational activities we facilitated from February to May in the Tsotsil region of the Chiapas Highlands, Mexico, with a vulnerable population. The results were as follows:

Number of schools served: 7

Number of workshops taught: 42

Level: Preschool and primary school, and Health Promoters and Assistants

Number of participants: 1,291

6 participating locations: Acteal, Canalumtic, Naranjatik Alto, Los Llanos, San Cristóbal de las Casas, and Chichihuistán

Topics covered: Healthy eating, oral health, chronic diseases, medications, and respiratory diseases.

Prevention allows people to adopt healthy habits that reduce the risk of disease and improve their overall well-being.

Thank you very much for continuing to support the families served by our organization, Sanando Heridas.

¡Bienvenidos! estamos muy contentos de compartir este informe de las actividades trabajadas en el tema de educación que, durante el período de febrero a mayo, facilitamos en la zona tsotsil de los Altos de Chiapas México, con población vulnerable, con los siguientes resultados:

Numero de escuelas atendidas: 7

Número de talleres impartidos 42

Nivel: preescolar y primaria y Promotores y asistentes de salud

Número de participantes: 1291

6 localidades participantes: Acteal, Canalumtic, Naranjatik Alto, Los Llanos, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chichihuistán

Temáticas abordadas: alimentación saludable, salud bucal, enfermedades crónicas, medicamentos, enfermedades respiratorias.

La prevención permite a las personas adoptar hábitos saludables que reducen el riesgo de enfermedades mejorando su bienestar general.
