Dear Supporters,
We are thrilled to provide you with another exciting update on FarmSahel’s ongoing efforts to empower smallholder women farmers in Burkina Faso. Since our last report, we have continued to build on the momentum of previous successes, and we are pleased to share some incredible news from the field.
Recent Harvests
Thanks to the continued support of our generous donors, the women farmers we work with have successfully harvested cowpea, eggplant, and cabbage. Because of the reliable access to water from the solar-powered wells we installed in the villages of Ouda and Simbri, these crops have flourished, making a significant difference in the daily lives of these communities. The successful harvests have provided families with essential food and an additional source of income through the sale of excess produce in local markets.

Looking Ahead
We are excited to share that, thanks to supporters like you, we have secured funding for a new water well in the village of Sinkiere. This will enable even more women farmers to have access to reliable water, supporting year-round crop cultivation and improving the livelihoods of the community.
As we move forward, our goal remains to build water wells in 18 additional villages over the next five years, providing more communities with the tools they need for sustainable agriculture and economic empowerment.
How You Can Help
We are immensely grateful for your unwavering support. Together, we can continue to make a lasting impact and transform more lives through sustainable agriculture and access to clean water.
Thank you for standing with us!
Warm regards,
Madjalia Seynou
