Napoleon's Paws on the Mend

By Gerbie Mir | Chief Operating Officer

Teeth looks very good
Teeth looks very good

During the December festive season, our veterinary team provided urgent medical care to Napoleon, one of our beloved animal residents.

Napoleon was safely sedated so our team could address several painful ingrown claws, including one that had become infected and inflamed. His wounds were carefully cleaned and treated, and he was started on antibiotics and pain medication.

At the same time, we conducted a full health workup: blood tests, weight check, dental inspection, and heart and lung examinations.

Within 24 hours, Napoleon was noticeably more relaxed, comfortable, and happily eating again, a clear sign of recovery.

Because of your generosity, Napoleon received the care he needed without delay. Your contributions ensure that animals like him not only survive but thrive, with access to professional veterinary treatment and ongoing monitoring.

We will continue to monitor Napoleon’s healing and provide follow-up care. Your continued support helps us respond quickly to medical needs, safeguard animal welfare, and give every resident the chance to live pain-free and joyful lives.

We are deeply grateful to our dedicated veterinary team—and to you, our global community, for making this possible. Together, we are building a future where every animal receives the dignity and care they deserve.
