Drawing competition
It was a week long break for children from school for Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration The festival is well celebrated by all the people in Goa. The children had fun in the shelter. The children had Ganesh celebration in their house, visiting their relatives, neighbors, and friends. The children in the shelter had various activities like drawing competition, dance by children and other fun. The children had more time to play and watch television.
The central kitchen has installed new Chappati making machine. Children love eating chappati's for their meal but it was difficult for the kitchen staff to make it manually for so many children. Now that the machine has come, children had frequent chappati's in their meal. The children were all happy.
Thank you for your continuous support towards the needy children. Your contribution helps in bringing childhood to children who never had one. For more information or updates, please visit the website or follow our social media pages.

Hello,
My name is Maruti. I am from a very poor background. I came in Asha Deep Day Care Shelter when I was 6 years old in the year 2004. I come from a broken poor family; we were all scattered not knowing where our parents were.
One day a field staff of El Shaddai came to visit us and informed us about the shelter where we could get food, education, and shelter. me and other children in the group who stayed near the railway station started going to the shelter. I was later moved to El Shaddai's residential home name Shekinah house in Assagao. I was given love, care, and healthy environment. I attended Shanti Niketan School - nonformal educational school. I had an opportunity to finish my +2 examination with very good marks. I have been with El Shaddai Charitable Trust for 13 years and have grown up to be a responsible person. I am more confident and better football player, good in acting, singing, dancing and interacting with people.
I am now pursuing further education with the help of El Shaddai and I am also working as a trainee with El Shaddai Charitable Trust. I would really like to Thank all the sponsors, supporters and staff of El Shaddai Charitable Trust for giving me opportunities and chance to live. I don't know where I would have been without the help of El Shaddai in my life.
