Help Fund Learning Resources for our School Laos

With your help and donations, we are constructing the English Centre, which is now under construction.

The lives of so many young people in our rural town are being changed by this centre. English language proficiency is a requirement for any employment in Laos, including auto mechanics. Despite the fact that it is so crucial, the public school does not provide them with instruction in it. We provide English classes to young people through our scholarship programme and part-payment plan, depending on their financial situation, and subsequently assist them in locating employment.

The need for our assistance in teaching these locals English so they can leave their farming villages and obtain more is urgent given the acute poverty in Laos' rural areas. As previously indicated, the land we acquired with your gifts is taking shape, and construction has just begun. Although it is a really exciting time, we still need to raise a significant amount of money for the project. In order to start teaching, we will need to buy furniture, supplies, and other items, but with your support, we will be open in 2023!

The start of 2023 and the builders have arrived, the foundations have been laid and our first ever English Centre is being built with your support and donations. We are 60% there with our donations and just need another $3,000 to ensure we can complete the build but we have hope we can do it! 

This centre will change the lives of so many young people in our rural community, in Laos it is an essential criteria to have English Language for any job, even a car mechanic. Such an important language yet they don't get offered it through the state school, with our scholarship program and part-payment program depending on their financial situation we are offering English courses to young people and then supporting them in finding a job. 

Poverty is extreme in the rural communities across Laos and therefore our help to teach these community members English so they can leave the farming villages and get more is so important to them at the moment . The land we purchased with your donations is taking shape and as mentioned we are now starting the build, it is a very exciting time but we have a long way to go to fundraise the final amount for the building then we need to purchase furniture, equipment and resources to begin teach but with your support we will be open in 2023!
