Thirty-six (36) children in Tahanan ng Pagmamahal were all provided with care, shelter and protection. All of the them were nourished with healthy and nutrient-dense food, vitamins and milk. Medical interventions to prevent diseases are being implemented such as: monthly check-ups with a Gastroenterologist, an Endocrinologist and a Pediatrician; and regular monitoring of their body mass indexes, and weights. As part of health prevention, there were eleven (11) children ages two (2) years old to four (4) years old and five (5) months were given their flu vaccinations on June 22, 2025.

However, despite these preventive measures, five (5) children ages two (2) years old to seven (7) years old were found to be underweight and with specific health concerns such as: Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, difficulty in feeding, intellectual disability, allergy, and lung problems. One particular six (6) year old girl’s daily food intake is also being closely monitored. There are three (3) children who are on maintenance of Montelukast and Seretide and one (1) for congenital heart disease.

Twenty-one (21) children were enrolled this year. They started classes June 16, 2025. Of the twenty-one (21) children, only one (1) eight (8) year old boy was enrolled in a special education class.

This boy underwent several sessions of occupational and speech therapy. He has then demonstrated and showed a lot of improvement; he was very observant when he went to unfamiliar places especially when he went to the embassy to process his visa.

A group of Art teachers and volunteers came to teach the ten (10) older boys creative art paintings. The eleven (11) toddlers and five (5) younger boys enjoyed other outreach activities.

Caring for the babies, toddlers, and children in general have concerns and challenges when it comes their health and physical needs. But truly, serving is lighter and more joyful in meeting their needs when we know that we have a partner in you in showering these kids with love and kindness. Thank you! We are grateful for your continued support in providing for these kids’ needs.
