Dear Friend!
Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has triggered the largest armed conflict in Europe since the Second World War. The war has caused mass panic, displacement, and the collapse of basic living conditions for millions of civilians. Families fleeing bombed cities arrive with nothing, often after days without electricity, water, or food.
In response, Pallottine missionary priests in Kyiv, Odesa, Zhytomyr, and Lviv opened their parishes to displaced families. Churches, parish offices, and meeting rooms have been transformed into emergency shelters. Beyond food, water, and hygiene supplies, power generators, fuel, and oil-powered equipment became essential to survival amid constant blackouts. As homes continue to be destroyed, the urgent need for safe accommodation has only increased.
This project provides immediate humanitarian aid and adapts parish spaces into livable flats so families can survive the war with safety and dignity.

Every donation has directly supported families whose lives were shattered by war.
Ukraine still is facing a humanitarian catastrophe caused by the Russian invasion. Entire cities and neighborhoods—particularly in Mariupol, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and surrounding regions—have been destroyed. Civilians are repeatedly cut off from electricity, heating, and water during air raids and missile attacks. Thousands of families have lost their homes and are forced to flee westward in search of safety.
The number of displaced families arriving at Pallottine parishes grows daily. Without immediate intervention, many would face homelessness, hunger, cold, and serious health risks. The scale and intensity of destruction leave no space for waiting—this is a crisis that demands constant, rapid action.
Pallottine parishes across Ukraine have become lifelines for civilians and displaced families. Through this project, they:
Provide food, clean water, hygiene products, and basic necessities
Install and operate power generators and fuel-based equipment to ensure electricity and heating during outages
Create and equip medical hubs for injured civilians and soldiers
Adapt parish offices, meeting rooms, and unused spaces into temporary flats for refugee families
In Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Lviv, rooms are renovated and furnished so families can live in safer, warmer, and more stable conditions. The core aim is to protect Ukrainians from homelessness during wartime and support them in regaining a sense of normal life despite ongoing conflict.
Long-Term Impact
Thanks to your support, lives are saved every single day. Families affected by war are protected from hunger, dehydration, freezing temperatures, and exposure to rubble and ongoing attacks. This project restores hope, stability, and human dignity to people who have lost everything.
Beyond material help, this assistance sends a powerful message: Ukraine is not alone. The world remembers. The world cares. The world stands with those who suffer and struggles alongside them for peace and freedom.
Families whose homes were destroyed can now live in humane conditions, preserve their health, and hold onto the strength needed to rebuild their future once the war ends.
With sincere gratitude - we thank every donor with our whole hearts. Your generosity has been transformed into shelter, warmth, light, medical care, and safety for families living through war. You chose compassion over indifference and action over silence.
Together, we help Ukraine survive— and hold on to hope. Thanks to You the people and chldren could have a Merry Christmas - fair enough.
