2. Project Overview
This project aims to empower the SORD organization institutionally by providing comprehensive technical and administrative support, with the goal of raising institutional capabilities and unleashing the potential to elevate performance from "good to great ".
The main focus of the project :
- Strategic planning :
Developing and implementing clear and effective policies .
- Management and Leadership Development:
Developing leadership and management skills for staff and volunteers .
- International cooperation :
Leveraging global expertise and enhancingoperational efficiency .
- Improving performance :
Strengthening quality management systemsandencouraging innovative approaches in applied humanitarian work .
3. Activities implemented and achievements during the period (August - November 2025)
A range of activities were implemented within the main themes of the project as follows :

Providing some basic technological capabilities necessary to improve the organization's technical performance .

Implementing technical training for employees with the aim of improving their technical skills in using tools and applications .

Working on periodic maintenance of equipment and technical devices to ensure work continuity and operational efficiency .

Managing human resources efficiently and intensifying training to ensure the employment of suitable personnel in the future, within the limits of available resources .
Strategic planning
Conduct advanced training on how to prepare strategic plans, followed by working on developing and improving the strategic plan to achieve the organization's goals .

Improving financial control mechanisms to ensure that available resources (albeit weak) are used effectively and transparently .
3.3. Institutional Training and Development
- Staff training : Administrative and technical training was provided to administrative staff and volunteers to enhance their overall skills .
- Program development : Working to review and develop current programs and projects to ensure the provision of high-quality and efficient humanitarian services .
3.4. Collaboration and Evaluation
- Cooperation with organizations : Building a network of cooperation with other organizations to exchange experiences, knowledge and resources .
- Cooperation with government agencies : Working with government agencies to gain the legal, technical and administrative expertise necessary to implement activities .
- Evaluation and monitoring : The organization evaluated its performance to ensure that the set objectives were achieved, while working on continuous monitoring of activities to ensure quality and efficiency .
4. Difficulties, obstacles, and recommendations
Despite the importance of the achieved goals, the project faced significant difficulties that affected the full implementation of the activities :

Weakening the ability to carry out activities to the fullest extent and postponing some key outputs .

Failure to allocate allowances and incentives for employees and volunteers, which is essential for activating work and accomplishing activities with high efficiency .
Weakness in activating work and achievement, and a negative impact on the morale of the staff .
The general situation in the country
The conflicts and wars in Yemen continue .
Weakening the overall performance of the organization and creating an unstable and complex work environment .
4.2. Recommendations :
- Appeal for generous support : We appeal to donors, contributors and supporters to give this field and this project the utmost attention and generous financial support .
- Securing funding : The necessary and sufficient funding must be secured to carry out the remaining activities and ensure proper institutional development and sustainable staff training .
- Staff support : Providing allowances, benefits, and incentives for administrative staff and volunteers to motivate them and ensure the continuity of work and achievement .
