Thank you for helping us make programs like this one possible!

Check it out :

Performing and Teaching Artist, Carrie Sue Ayvar, of Story Tapestries, Inc. will present a series of performances and interactive workshops at the National Children's Museum's Launch Zone this Saturday, March 17.  This is the first of two days of programming that are planned this spring.  The second day will feature Performing and Teaching Artist and Founder of Story Tapestries, Arianna Ross, on Saturday, April 7.  Story Tapestries is proud to be the sponsor of these programs, and we have YOU to thank for making them possible!

If you are in the DC area this Saturday, we cordially invite you and your family and friends to come and participate in fun, interactive performances and workshops for all ages!

Thanks to you, our dedicated supporters, these fantastic events are free and open to the public.

We would love to see you there!

While we are excited to share with you about these upcoming events, we also want to share with you about the struggle facing our public libraries.  Many libraries have had their funding cut and will not be able to provide the level of summer programs that they normally could. This Wednesday, March 14, we are aligning with Global Giving's Bonus Day in a one-day fundraiser matched at 30% by Global Giving.

It would be invaluable to us if you can help spread the word as we work to provide interactive performances for little to no cost to libraries and the communities they serve in the DC, MD, VA region this summer 2012.  Our goal is to raise $4,000 in 24 hours.  In addition to summer programs for libraries, we are now building our funding resources for artist-in-residency programs for the fall.

THANK YOU for continuing to Give the Gift of Literacy!
