Shortage of water and fear of floods making hurdle for small famers at local level
Since 2025 floods, small farmers about 500 are in fear and doubts of new floods in 2026 as access of snow fall in mountainous range. The climate day by day worse and hitting hard to small scale farmers and their income and socioeconomic conditions are already vulnerable. Now needs carefully some key steps for these farmers to help in water conservation and harvesting and irrigation water and canal water should be saved at local level.
Many farmers adopting smart cropping systems and AHD further giving training to these farmers to scale their crops and vegetables to small scale and save water and small-scale crops and vegetables and fruit trees at local levels
Needs to help these farmers in 2026 to help them towards climate resilience cropping systems
