Charlie and His Angels

Charlie and His Angels Arrive
Charlie and His Angels Arrive

Thanks to your generous support our Burro Brigade has grown.

A local rescue suffered the devastating loss of one of its co-operators. As a result, the rescue sked for help downsizing while they tried to find a way to continue their work. The rescue had three bonded burros that had been born in their care, Charlie and the female burros we have named Kris and Kelly. We are grateful to our wonderful volunteers who transported the trio to the ranch.

Sonny was eager to welcome the new trio to the Burro Brigade. We are happy with how quickly they settled into life at the ranch. Within minutes of arriving, we were pleased to see Kelly treat herself to a long roll. This is a very good indication that she was comfortable at the ranch.

We were told Kirs and Kelly were friendly, but that Charlie had always been standoffish. Now that they are part of the Burro Brigade all three have turned out to be very friendly. They love the attention of our volunteers. What surprised us the most though was little Charlie. He quickly figured out the burro hierarchy and decided to become good friends with Bret and Harlie, two of the highest raking burros in the group!

Adding this trio of burros to the ranch was only possible because of your support. Your generosity allows us to provide a forever home to more than a dozen burros, including Charlie and his angels. Thank you for being guardian angels to all of our burros.
