Thanks to your generous support as a Burro Buddy our Burro Brigade has grown by one.
The owner for two senior horses and a senior burro recently passed away, leaving no one to care for these equines. Given their advanced age, County of San Diego Department of Animal Services asked us to provide them with their forever home.
We are waiting to hear if Animal Services has a record of this sweet boy's name. He is believed to be about 29 years old. Since he arrived at the ranch on June 23, he has been getting to know the other members of the Burro Brigade. Given his advanced age he was integrated into our senior burro group. This group's diet consists primarily of pellets, which are easier for the senior burros to chew.
We are grateful for your support of the burros in our care and we are particularly grateful that your support allowed us to say "yes" to a senior burro in need. Thank you for enabling us to provide him with a forever home!
